Thoughts on the name Cherry for a baby girl?

The name I have in mind is Cherry Meadow S. I like that it's a rarely used name. same with my son's name it's rarely used. Hubby likes it but it's a known stripper name and we worry about what may happen around puberty til end of high school for her if we do use that name. Otherwise we think it's cute

Hmm Cherry is a cute name but I could see where it might invite some teasing cause of the stripper association. Kids can be cruel, sadly. Thing is though, if it's not a super common name she goes by, other kids aren't even gonna think of that right away.

Plus nowadays all kinds of nature names are in style, like you said with Meadow too. And who cares what narrow-minded people think anyway - your girl's gonna rock whatever name she's given!

When she's older she can always go by Cher if she wants something more mature sounding. But I bet by high school most kids will be over dumb name jokes anyway.

At the end of the day what matters is you and your husband love it. And having a unique name will probably build her confidence to stand out. So I say go for it girl - let little Cherry blossom! She'll be the cutest in the meadow, for sure.
