so the problem is we all knew they are gonna get in relationship soon coz they like each other, but none of us (all the friends) like him. he is very disrespectful , sexist and always talks in a way that makes other feel insecure about themselves. i opened up about this to my friends in the group and suddenly all of them opened up, none of us mentioned this before i did as we thought it was just us thinking that way. now she has stopped hanging out with us and cancelling all plans to be with him. on top of that she has got this sense of superiority over us but we love her. the only thing which concerns us is that the way this guy treats us (her friends), coz you might have our girl and treat her in all good ways but you have no right on anyone. when she is with him, she even forgets to look at us. what should we do?

There isn’t much you can do , just accept that she chose to be with this guy and understand this guy is going to be her priority over all of you , whether he is a douchebag or not , she is seeing a side of him that she is attracted to , So just accept the fact that you probably won’t see her much anymore , because of her relationship with this guy. Sadly this is what happens when people choose to be in a relationship with someone , When you get into a relationship with a girl , you will probably be doing the same exact thing to your friends , so it’s just the way it goes in most cases

Love works in mysterious ways & some say love is blind & when it comes to love sometimes when you are in love you are blind to somethings & some people. As for your bestie she’s in a relationship so let her do her own thing & in time if things don’t go well I’m sure your bestie will be back. In the meantime fine another bestie.

@etsylo I agreed with her, sadly it is her choice and as friends it’s good to be honest with her but respect her choices. It’s upsetting and uncomfortable to watch her.. but hopefully she will be mindful and learn from this experience. Hopefully her man can changed around and be a better person. I think if she also chooses to let her man and decided to not treat yalls well, it also shows what kind of friend she is growing out to be and no one deserves that… we tend to put up with friends cuz we love and forgive them… but we shouldn’t endure it when it’s becoming toxic.

honestly there's not much you can do but wish her the best. if she is that easily swayed from her friends because of her boyfriend, i don't think she was meant to stick around forever. you guys can love her from afar and wish her nothing but happiness. though you all should put your foot down whenever her and her boyfriend appear and they make you all uncomfortable because friends don't make each other feel that way.

you can't live your friend's life. If she doesn't see what you all see, she will have to experience it. Don't go her way. Just be around if she needs you. Making mistakes means to grow, so let her learn and grow

I've never understood this. I've never been able to get a girl to want to hang out with me constantly like some people do. It's just new and exciting to her. She'll come back around when the excitement wears off. It always does. Hopefully her friends won't have written her off by then.

You can’t force her to break up with him. Just let her know you’re still there for her if she needs you and quietly stop hanging out with her until they break up. Hopefully she’ll realize for herself what a jerk he is.

Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do. You can voice your concerns but she has to make a decision for herself. If she won’t listen, then she has to find out the hard way. However, do not abandon her if she comes to her senses. Just be there for her.
