Why is it that westerners (specifically Anglos) have no real familial unit or care?

I live in North America. I see Anglos throwing their kids out the door at 17, 18. I see Anglo seniors struggling to get around without any support whatsoever from their family.

I am specifically pointing out Anglos because this is a predominant thing amongst them. The familial unit separates into different directions, oftentimes going far distances apart.

Other cultures - Mediterraneans, Indians, E Asians, Middle Easterners, Arabs, Central & Eastern Europeans, etc - even if the kids are making large amounts of money they may still live with their parents (until their own families are started) or they move close by and/or are still actively involved in their parents familial unit / care,

They have familial structure but I think it’s because independence is important here and there isn’t like a family clique in Anglo culture

Some of the most advanced countries are not Anglo so has nothing to do with independence, as advancement requires independence / independent thought, and more lack of class.

Yeah, I noticed that too. White people culture doesn't seem to value family much for whatever reason.

They are more about status and money much more than family unit.
