My daughter has started asking for dolls and we went to a couple different stores yesterday and had a hard time finding Hispanic looking ones. Growing up I only had white Barbie’s and I remember never feeling pretty enough because I was darker.

I had a few Barbies when I was a kid, but I wasn't a huge doll girl. I really only played with my dolls whenever my sister wanted to play. I was a bit of a Bratz fan, but I don't think I ever actually had a Bratz doll. 🤔

One Christmas, my parents bought me one of these "Flava" dolls.. that's probably the closest I got to having a doll that "looked like me." 😂

i grew up with two sisters so i feel your dilemma all too well. luckily, we had cabbage patch kids back then. so i got a tanned one to match my hispanic skin. i find it hard to believe there are no hispanic barbies! no migrant barbie? come on!
