What exactly is so funny about making a baby cry?

I've seen many videos of parents either playing with the same toy that scares the baby, throwing cold water (as a challenge), doing an evil vampire laugh or some other BS for likes. The baby is clearly stressed or scared, crying and the adult is laughing.

I don't understand. What's so funny about making a baby cry?

Exactly it's not. If it was my child and a toy was scaring him/her, that would be enough for me to remove it and throw it away already. I don't understand what's the point of doing those ''crying the baby'' videos for likes.
