Are your closest friends guys, girls, or both? Why?

Both. I like woman friends because they kind of train you to think about things in a more emotionally conscious way. Which just makes maintaining romantic, or really all relationships easier.

I like my guy friends because I relate to them more, when someone complains about work or their girlfriend you can actually sit in a circle, share advice and then the person usually at least tries. lol so you get to learn about situations people get into, what they’re thinking/feeling how they reacted and where that got them.

Guys are also less drama. A dude I know got all in my face the other day over a misunderstanding, I explained myself he just shrugged it off and was like “sorry that actually makes a lot of sense, my problem is I need to stop jumping to conclusions”

Years ago, after a run of bad luck. A lady friend of mine came over to my place and we watched tv on a big L couch. I was kinda a little depressed, this is someone who our whole friendship started with me turning her down after the guy she wanted turned her down for my ex. I asked her if it would be weird if we shared the same blanket.

this girl looked at me like she had been waiting years for this moment. She’s like “telekinetic-potato, do you know how many guys say that to me but-?”

granted she’s a model but WHAT?😭

I couldn’t even keep listening at that point, I just closed my eyes and fell asleep 😂

why? because most of them are from school days so I've known them for long, and that's what got us close

and then, I just happened to get along quite well with both, dudes and dudettes...

I don’t have a lot of friends, but most of girls. For me, I just had a difficult time relating to others and couldn’t ever make friends growing up. My man, had more female friends, which I’m okay with.
