My drums and my records and other collections but, it doesn't really matter because I've got no one to leave any of them to!! I've lived the bulk of my life alone, most likely, I'm gonna live the rest of my life COMPLETELY alone and I'm very likely gonna die completely alone!! I imagine I'll be dead several months before anybody even bothers to THINK ABOUT seeing if I'm okay.
I'm sure you've affected more people in your life than you realize
Probably but, not a single one of them is banging down my door begging to be my friend or even hang out with me!! At the moment, my only friends that come to see me all the time are the bunnies in the yard but, if I stop giving them bread, THEY'LL stop showing stop, too!! For as long as I've been feeding them, (over a year) they're still scared of me!
Sometimes life isn't necessarily about who shows up at your door. In your 57 years of life, I'm absolutely sure you've affected a lot of people. And you've also said your life is music... so that means you've provided a lot of that kind of value to others.
Also, just know that you can also knock on others doors. We live in a pretty disconnected society and there's a loneliness pandemic (mostly because of social media). So others would appreciate you knocking their door as much as you would them.
Yeah, I've got tons of fans all over the place but, still, here I sit completely alone for years on end!!
I've gone over to talk to the neighbors but, it never lasts more than a few seconds per visit. Shouldn't it be their turn, by now?
It's hard for a lot of people to reach out. The majority of people in the world consider themselves introverts and feel like they don't want to bother others or get in their space. Not everyone can be that extroverted friend that pulls you out of your comfort zone and gets you to do stuff, ya know? Just gotta keep putting in effort and hope that karma comes back your way. If it doesn't, then at least you brought a lot of people's lives up and affected them positively 😊
At this point, it doesn't matter, right now. Apparently I'm gonna be losing my house, again in Sept so, there's no point making friends around here if I'm never gonna see them again.
Sorry to hear man. Things will pick up again though. Life has its up and downs. You're down now but you'll get back up in no time 😁
My life mostly has downs.
You should try focusing on the good in your life. I just started trying a gratitude journal. When you focus on the good things that happen each day, you can genuinely rewire yourself
If I do, I'll be the only one doing it.
I've planted thousands of those little trees/shrubs everywhere so I know my hands will have given some little animal food/shelter for 100 of years to come and made shade for someone to enjoy someday. That in addition to my daughter will be my legacy.
I want this world to be better, in some way, for my having been in it. I don't need a grand tribute, but if I can impact one person's life for good, that's fulfilling to me. I hope my kids will be contributors to society, and be honorable and genuine humans who can learn, love and thrive.
Wholesome answer 😊

name a potato, and then die saying
"The 20 billion dollars and my potato are hidden in-" *ded*
@just_a_potato how do you feel about this?
he doesn't know, I locked him in a small box under my pavement
There are a few... family values... volunteer work... and just taking opportunities to infuse love back into a really jaded world.
My kids are continuing my legacy. They are the pride of my life.
2 kids, boy and girl; 14 and 16 years old.
I have 3 grown children, whom I'm very proud of.
I planted some trees, that will hopefully outlive me…
Maybe some of my students will do something great.
That all my children practice their Catholic faith, have good and strong moral values and work ethics, and have good loving families of their own.
I have no family and am congenitally sterile. Probably donate whatever I do not leave to my friends to the OCC Music Department to purchase instruments for talented but financially challenged youth.
Strong/heakthy family line with no debt.
Survival techniques used for everyday living.
Good memories and peace
My kids
None. Who cares?
