Accident fault, whose is it when the person was is in your blind spot?

Cousin was in an accident the other car was going pretty fast. Cousin merged after signaling and the cars swipped each other.

The other car was going fast enough to get from the blind spot to right next to him.

No one was hurt but whose fault was it for the insurance?

Cousins fault

Other cars fault

What ever made him change lanes so fast

I dont know the letter of the law, but I'm fairly certain ignorance is a poor defense. If I were you I'd advise the defense to prove the other party was speeding

Lol so blind spot won't matter. If it goes to court I'll tell my cousin to use the speeding. Sure the Tesla recorded it all...
