She keeps coming up as a friend suggestion online

How does that happen

algorithm.

i once traveled out of state. and overheard someone talking about their tiktok as we were landing, a particular subject. a few hours later, i open up tiktok, and it is that person who was behind me.

i did not even look him up or know his name! just the way he looked. it was very weird.

honestly don't even think too far into it.

Some of that is happening because of geographic tracking settings. FB will recommend friends to you, based on physical proximity. It could also be because the person is looking your profile up.
