What do you do if your kid is bored?

When i was a kid i just watched tv shows/cartoons and play video games and when i got older, i used an iPad.

People criticize the parents who give their children iPads, but like what else would they do?

I was never bored as a child as I was always playing outside with friends. I actually never spent time inside if the weather would allow me to be outside. That is how I grew up to be a nature person.

I cannot understand how anyone could be bored and I am actually totally against parents putting a tablet in the hands of a newborn just to shut them up and forget their duties as a parent.

You can teach them respect, dignity and self-esteem and teach them to socialize on a person-to-person basis and certainly not how to use social media at age 3.

Go out and be with others. That is how you fight boredom, not by sitting in front of a console 24/7 and getting fat because you only eat junk food and have fizzy drinks.

No kid of mine would be wasting time on cartoons and video games. I would prefer my children grow up educated.

Kids need other kids to play with, nothing compares.

I grew up with almost too many kids around I took it for granted and often wanted to be alone, so we probably would have gotten along well.

Get off the screen and go play a sport with them.

Sounds like you SHOULD if you can't think of any other activity but being on your screen.
