Is it normal for people to not be glad when a gay is around?

Being gay you live life of no respect or dignity. Your very existence is offensive. Just finished a NA meeting where a woman said openly - for me to hear, as im the only one to be bullied in any setting - "not you, you're gay". This was her response to a convo she had with another member. She shared her story, he complimented her and thanked her being present, she responds thank you im glad you're here. After a moment she stated not you, in reference to me and im that weird quiet loser in the corner nobody likes. I don't know how common it is for gays or maybe it depends on the individual but I dont go a day without being openly insulted, i dont have friends to ever speak life or positive things to me. All i know is that im unwanted and better off dead. Thinking of my life makes want to cry but I can't. To all you its just another delusional pity party post and my experiences and emotions will just be belittled or unvalidated

I guess it would depend on where u live and how tolerant people are I have known a few gay guys that didn't expirance what your describing yes they had some discrimination but nit every passing moment and they also wasn't disliked by everybody and had friends

there been other gays there and former jobs but i have never heard them being insulted. So it must be something about me which causes unprovoked hostility

Yes I believe its either how u act or how you present yourself that may be the reason people treat u a type of was rather then it being that u are gay

You think its because im a cowardly nerd but act like im hot and cool? Like trying to buy shoes at footlocker the girl would act too busy to help nor everr asked if i needed assistance. Just made jokes or would laugh passing by me. Then after waiting in line to ask the guy at register 4 help then she walks upp asking if ii need something

Hard to know but it must be somthing to do with body language maybe how u dress or maybe even smell but without knowing u this is me just throwing out ideas
