I would have to say... myself

because there were times in which I knew I could have done so much better, but I just didn't... and, I used to be that harsh on myself too, I've let myself down a couple of times before

The realization that the American dream is dead. House? Not happening. Well-paying job with meaning? Not happening. Finding a partner or getting married? Not happening. Having kids and starting a family? Not happening.

My dream career was in prosthetics, i wanted to follow that path since I was 14. I excelled in biology in school, and planned to carry on to university when I got older. Then I fell chronically ill when I was 17, failed my last year of highschool as I was off sick all the time, and I was sick until 2024. But even though I’m not sick anymore, the illness i had has done permanent cognitive damage, which prevents me from studying for the foreseeable future. So I will not be able to have my dream career due to health.
