Would you feel bad if you never had the son (all girls) or daughter (all boys) you wanted?

My godmother had 3 kids (all grown-up) with my uncle. All of them boys. They have two grandchildren and again boys. So I'm like a daughter to her; the girl they never had.

Then my married manager at my workplace just had a gender reveal party for his twins. The couple already has 2 girls; ages 3 and 5. The twins are identical girls. They wanted at least one boy though. Now it's going to be 4 girls for them.

If you were a parent of all boys all girls, would you feel bad if you never got the gender you wanted, not even once?
