All girls, because girls have more power in relationships, will control my grandchildren, and have an easier time if pretty. My daughter is set for life.

LOVE my son to death though. 💙 He has looks, intelligence, and excellent potential.

But, the woman he finds (If he ever talks to one) will decide how his kids turn out. I've seen women ruin children. She might drink while pregnant, take custody of his kids, and who knows what else. Men don't have the power once they have children. A woman can decide to abort the baby, abandon it somewhere, not even put a man on the birth certificate, etc. It's rough if a man cares.

Its just that girls are still at a disadvantage in this world, which is worrying.

I would love and protect both, but be even more protective over girls. So my answer is that it doesn't matter which gender I get, just that I would raise them a bit differently.

@IslaTheWitch girls are more independent early on and able to control their emotions. Less to teach them about life. Boys there's a lot more going into raising them to be a good person. The majority of criminals and homeless people are men. a lot of men lack empathy and ruin relationships. Those thing happen because parents aren't putting in the effort to raise them properly

it depends on the specific child... none of my daughters were easy going, both are full of fiery emotions, and for the contrary, my son is the most composed of all my kids... also... girls have much more emotions in relationships which makes them more vulnerable for being hurt... so much more teaching is needed...

and even if every single one of them is different, none of them was "easier" to raise, as each of them had their own problems, which we, as parents, needed to address and help them go over them... but... every parent learns it on their own skin :D

@IslaTheWitch girl emotions tend not be be violent tho so it's very different. Boys also struggle more in school, focusing, have more health issues.
I met a mother of 11 childern the other day she said her 3 boys still stress her as adults yet all the girls were easy. She said sorry and wished me good luck on having all boys cuz she would never be able to do it 😂

my brother had a friend who had 10 brothers... parents tried to have a girl... none of them caused any problems... it's a very individual thing... not related to the gender of a kid... a lot depends on the way of raising... of course, if we say, "boys don't cry," they will have problems with showing and accepting their emotions... but healthily raised kids don't cause problems because of gender but because of individual traits

@controlleddecent then you aren't raising them correctly. Boys take a lot of effort to turn into decent men. Girls you don't need to put the same effort into. They can grow up and fall back on a man to rely on or sell their ass on OF. Men do not have those luxuries they will end up homeless or in jail if their parents fail to raise them
