I'm about to find out on my due date (June 8th-12th). I'll be giving birth for the first time 2 months after my 38th b-day. If it's done without epidural then there will be contractions, pain and muscles tearing up. Let's just say it's more painful than our regular menstrual cramps.

What I know is that when we get our period, we’re dilated 1 cm, and that already hurts like a bitch. So, imagine how much more you have to be dilated to push out a baby!
