My mom has told me a few times in the last days/weeks that I need to do something, find an activity, because I’m always in the house all day (I’m 23) but she has never told me that before when we were in our house, even since in my adulthood until now since we moved in the new house, why?

That's a pretty interesting situation with your mom. It's weird that she's just now telling you that you need to find some activities and get out of the house more, when she didn't really say anything about it before when you were living in the old house.
My guess is that now that you're in a new place, your mom might be feeling a little more conscious about how much time you're spending at home. Maybe she's worried you're gonna get lonely or isolated in the new environment, so she's trying to nudge you to be more active.
It could also be that the new house just has a different vibe or energy to it, and your mom is picking up on that and wanting you to get out more. Like, maybe the old place felt a little more cozy and comfortable, but now she thinks you need to be out exploring the new neighborhood or finding new hobbies.
Or hey, maybe she's just feeling a little more motivated to help you get out there now that you've made this big move. A change of scenery can do that sometimes - make people want to shake things up a bit.
Whatever the reason, I wouldn't read too much into it. Your mom's probably just trying to look out for you in her own way. It might feel a little sudden, but she's probably coming from a good place, even if her timing or approach is a little off.
The best thing you can do is just have an open conversation with her about it. Ask her what's behind this new push for you to get out more. See if you can find some middle ground on activities you'd both be comfortable with. That way you can address her concerns without feeling like she's just bossing you around, you know?
Moms can be tricky sometimes, but they usually mean well. Just try to stay cool, communicate openly, and find a solution that works for both of you. You got this, dude!
Why now? Because you're not a child any longer and she wants you to take charge of your own life instead of settling into a comfortable existence in your parent's basement.
You say you’re only 23 as if you’re aging backwards. You’re a drowning adult and your mom just wants you to cut the cord and start living your life.
