What are your regrets in life so far?

On the one hand, I have many regrets about not trying to be friends with certain people from childhood. On the other hand, maybe things all happened the way they were supposed to. That is, if I were to go back, I might wind up still feeling trapped by circumstances not allowing me to be friends with them. Like I tend to think now, "oh, I could have listened to what people were talking about, and at the very least whisper a related comment. But then if I were to go back, maybe there really weren't that many moments that I could have come up with something to contribute.

Trying cocaine 20 years ago. Any other regrets sprang from this choice either directly, but mostly indirectly.

I regret not staying away from trying real drugs. It opened a door I wasn't aware I was walking through. It led me down a different path than the one I had been on the first 20 years of my life.

Saying yes to that one guy out of the pressure from his friends and also because I was a big people pleaser. He said he would die if I didn't say yes, well we broke up after 8 months of uncomfortable on and off relationship where I didn't make any move and didn't allow him to make any move too, I made the break up call and he kept saying no and I finally blocked him. He then texted me from few new numbers and I blocked them too. Never been so peaceful in my life before.

All my regrets are things that were out of my control. It’s not about specific choices I made, but more about the life I ended up with. I just wish I had been different—less shy, more confident, more like everyone else. Being this way has held me back from so many opportunities, and if I weren’t, maybe I wouldn’t have regrets at all.

I went to a college with no money to go. I thought I could make enough working a crappy part time job to pay for it and still spend enough time to go to class and pass the exams. 3 years of my life I will never get back.

i am very self-destructive instinctively and i've gotten better about it now days, but i've made A LOT of poor decisions

so i wished i didn't do them and that i took advantage of opportunities in life more. kinda like you with your friends or chances i had in high school

I would say I ghosted a guys I really liked, at the time I thought he was kinda a loser because he told me he had a job but I found out he had none so I ghosted him but thinking about it, he was the best one I talked ton none of the others guys I met were like him. I would say that's my only regret obviously he blocked me and don't want to have anything to do with me anymore.
