One time I was warning my dad about a shady guy who he was about to go into business with. I looked him up online and results popped up that he was basically lying about everything. My dad got defensive and told me to stay out of it saying that I didn’t know any better because I’m just his kid and not as experienced as him - also that he’s the parent so he knows best. That guy ended up running away with the $30k that my dad “invested” in him.
