She’s gone now, but I have her ashes. The urn is on the fireplace mantle, and put flowers by it for her, with the bouquet including her favorite, sunflowers🌻
I just sat by her a bit and looked through some old family photos of her and us, and listened to an answering machine message she left me on my birthday about ten years ago, a couple years before she passed. Very happy to have saved memories like that so I can hear her voice as well as look at pictures❤️

Gave up an impressive career (especially for a woman back in the 50s-70s) to have my punk ass😝
She loved fashion, that’s where I get it from, haha

I can only think about my mom on Mother's Day she passed away on Jan-05-2017 from lung cancer.

Did some odd jobs around the house for her. Got the irrigation up and running, made sure her lawn mower was ready, fixed the beeping smoke detector.
