Do you or dd you ever get grounded?

Got home late again so got to stay in my pyjamas to stop me going out which is embarrassing as we have had people in the house

Gosh no. When I was drunk out of my mind and politely asked my mom to pull over so I can let the insides of my stomach be outsides, she spent the next day or two laughing at me.

I was always honest with my parents. I did get into plenty of trouble. The policy was simply that whatever happened I could tell them without worry.

Also as a sidenote, pretty sure my dad was cheering me on the first few times I snuck out to parties. Aaand lastly grounding me probably would not have worked at all anyway.

It was more the other way. My punishment would be my mum taking me to some place for hours to bore me to death. As I loved been home.

And ya know she would leave me in the car for hours with nothing. Yeah she was crazy and abusive.

How do you get grounded at 17? You can work, you can drive, you can join the army and pretty soon you can vote. You can move out. I have a 17 year old son, the idea of grounding him would never enter my tiny head.

I thought 'grounding' was something that happened to 12 year olds?

I was threatened with it when i was living with my parents when i was younger, but it never was enforced.

Kind of. But having my room on ground floor, this only meant that I leave the house through the window.
