Honestly haven't had actual friends since the 7th grade high school was rough I had so much depression then as an adult I kinda kept to myself I've git some good people I talk with at work but I don't consider them friends

In order to choose wisely implies you have good and bad people to choose from. I was around only bad people, therefor I had no choice but not to have friends at all. Besides bad people don't want me anyways.

Haven't had a friend since I was 9. I'm 41 now. Never want one again. Or a girlfriend/wife...

Yes, and I have and still talk regularly to almost all of them. Some I have known for 25+ years.
