As you've gotten older, how has your taste in friendships or people you choose to associate with changed? As well as your views on people?

There's a saying that goes, " As you get older, the smaller your circle." But why is that? What makes you decide you want a smaller circle as you get older?

I'd say I've become more selective with who I choose to engage with or befriend.

Well I go more for quality over quantity now for sure. Plus attitude/personality over looks. I am also much more open minded and relaxed with my friends.

As I've gotten older it's overall better to be on your own, sometimes it gets lonely or whatever, but it's not worth all the negatives, unless you can have people you can truly depend on like family, but that's not usually the case.
