Is having a car a requirement to build friendships?

I’d say no. It’s helpful in my friendships but that’s because we’re active and like to spend our time in the mountains hiking or paddle boarding and well we could take the bus to the mountains it’s easier if we have a vehicle lol. But in general no having a car isn’t/shouldn’t be a dealbreaker in friendships

Nope. I have one but it sits parked on campus until I have to drive home for a holiday.
