So if you live in a snowy area whats the biggest snowman you've personally built?

Nothing that impressive. It doesn't snow in the Bay Area of California, so growing up, we only had occasional vacation weekends in Tahoe where we had access to snow. Probably our biggest snowman was about 5 feet tall, or 1.5m.
But, we DID make a pretty impressive toboggan track one year, where the house we were staying at was on a big lot on a hill. There was plenty of snow on the hill so the teen boys spent about 2 hours shoveling out a track that wound down the hill, and then spent much of the next 3 days going down the track on progressively more dangerous ride vehicles. It's shocking that our injuries were as minor as they were, looking back now...
Something tells me a “guy with a digger” and/or a number of other tools and equipment helped those girls. Unless you’re suggesting witchcraft, how else did those rugrats build a snowman taller than they could reach without a ladder so tall that i doubt they could even carry it to the jobsite. Just sayin’…
The tallest snowman i ever built was probably 12”-18”. It was one ball with rocks for eyes, twigs for arms, a shallow hole for a mouth and a caved in head with yellow hair after i pissed on it. No joke.
I hate the snow and cold, and i always have. My mother wanted me out of the house so she could do unseemly things with a fella who wasn’t my dad. So she kicked me out of the house and told me she would beat me if i didn’t build a snowman taller than. Ah… the good ol’ days!
It's not that me and my sisters would make them big, we would just make a lot of them. Not as many as in this pic but enough for a big party! 😊 (Even if it was friggen' cold out like it is now)
5ftish but it was during recess at school if that counts lol
i didn't really build snowmen as a kid bc it was already cold in the house

Wishing you a Happy Healthy New Year Poppy!
We don't seem to have much snow these days.
So if I was to "build" a snowman I would take inspiration from some of my locals, and inflate an enormous plastic snowman 🙂
I tried to build a huge one, one year. The bottom was about 3" tall, I could JUST get the middle section on but the top was too heavy to lift all that way. I suppose I should built it lying down on a plank and then lifted the plank to make it stand.
A 6-footer (~2 meters) when my kids were growing up. They had nothing better to do since a snowstorm closed schools for 2 days, and the roads in our neighborhood were impassable.
When my kids were little we made one that was probably 8 or 9 feet tall.
A six-footer, I think, the classic three spheres design.
It was probably 20 feet tall. Epic snow monster!
it was 10 feet tall excellent height. But the body was made out of your image. The snowman size of a nice chubby belly
It was a snow woman & it was taller then I was. So probably about 5' 6".
The Abominable Snowman. Apparently there are still sightings of my creation in the Himalayas.
around one foot?
yeah... that's how much snow we don't get down here, lol
The snowman was about 1,5 meters tall. For me and my brother, it looked really big, because we were just kids.
Not that big but piled plenty up throughout my life
I live in place that doesn't have snow so none so far.
thats gonna fall and break the house
No snow on the roof. I'm guessing the girls climbed out of that window and used it for the snowman
I never have built one.
