Do you feel like you've gotten better at trusting yourself as you got older?

I live for the chaos of life. It's kinda like an addiction to me. My parents tried so hard to raise me to be fearful and timid. And deep down somewhere I genuinely am, I just decided to do stuff anyway.

People see me say bold things and do hard stuff and ask how I got so confident in myself but the to be honest, half the time I do those things, I'm shaking in my boots šŸ˜‚

But as I go through more stuff, I'm less afraid. I've been laughed at, lost everything more than once, shamed etc. I always come back and that's made life a lot less scary.

I wonder how many people feel the same way.
