So a baby/child's personality and temperament can be innate too?

My son is turning 8 months by tomorrow the 15th. I'm beginning to know him more and have an idea of what I'll be dealing with within 2-3 years later.

He seems advanced for his age (ex; starting to grab the bottle when he was 4 months old). Whenever he can't advance more in a milestone, he gets very upset, screams loudly and is very persistent. There are times he gets bored grabbing the milk bottle and if we place his hands on it, he'll remove them.

My husband's father described our boy as a go-getter. He hates being alone with just one person or in quiet places (he actually loves noisy places) for too long. He likes socializing with people, being held in an upright position when he's bored and tends to sleep on his own. It seems like he does have a headstrong personality and a bit dominant. I've made a promise even before he was born. My promise was I would have all the patience in the world regardless of what child I would deal with and I never go back on my words. I'm currently reading a parenting book and will be advanzing to the toddler chapter.

But yes it does seems like I'll be dealing with a strong-willed boy (I was told I wasn't easy as a toddler either). So a baby/child's personality and temperament can be innate too?
