Am I being immature for cutting off a friend who flaked for homework?

My friend declined hanging out with us this time because she has to work on homework. I mean I understand she works full time 40 hours a week and she has online class but I told her she can make time to hang out. She said she as a lot to do and she can’t be behind. I said, “Fine. Well see you next time.”

Then she said, “Sounds good I’ll see you another time. Have a good night.” I purposely disliked her text. Who does homework on weekends? I mean she doesn’t use homework as an excuse every weekend. College students that work always says they do homework on weekends. Don’t forget your friends and family!
My best friend said I’m being immature and people have priorities. She said I didn’t get angry at her for having homework.” That’s different, she was studying for a test. That’s a good excuse! Having to do homework and not make it is NOT a valid excuse! No! I’m not speaking to her anymore.
