I grew up in a 1000 sq ft suburban, three bedroom, one and a half bathroom home. It was brand new when we moved in when I was an infant.
My sister was born 2.5 years later.
We both had our own rooms.

As for me when I was three years old my parents had a house build & that is when I got my own room.

I shared one with my little brother until I was 10, then we moved to a bigger house where we had enough rooms for us to have our own.

From birth. In fact when my mother was pregnant with my sister, we moved to a new house so we could both have our own room. I was 1 the day we moved to the new place, and she was born 6 months later.
