Since I am the Mom, I had a very nice Mother's Day today.

My nurse brought me a beautiful yellow tulip plant and some chocolate chip cookies.

My son called me.

My nephew texted me.

A member from GaG sent me a DM.

My sister-in-law who I haven't heard from in 10 years sent me a text message for mother's day.

Taking mom out again Monday or Tuesday. I see her often so always caring for her and she cooks for me sometimes.

i have a VERY very complicated relationship with my mom

and it annoyed me that my dad did nothing for my grandma (his mom). it wasn't unexpected, but it sucked bc i can tell it hurts her

ik wym and she really is like a second mom to me. but yeah, we spent a lot of the day together, and i got her multiple gifts

No my humor was self formed but that's good that you did stuff with your grandmother, so that sounds like a good mother's day for her, and mine isn't too invested into holidays how many mothers are, she treated it like a normal day but I told her to find something she wants and I'll buy it for her, I know she probably doesn't even know what she wants until she runs into it at some point 😂
