Why would a person purposely search another person they don’t like on social media just to write a mean comment?

Another person who isn’t a public figure wrote “I feel sick when I see their face” underneath this public figure picture on Instagram.

I was just thinking in my head why would a person purposely search up another person they don’t like. If looking at this person gives you negative emotions then don’t look at them.

I was looking at this former politician Instagram account because I don’t have a problem with them.

It seems like that other person that commented did.

Not trying to play Devil’s Advocate because I do agree that you shouldn’t search up someone you don’t like just to comment negatively on their content. However if this is a public figure we’re talking about, they could’ve just popped up on the persons timeline. I’ve literally blocked certain figures in the past, including hashtags with their names, and yet somehow they still show up for me on occasion.
