Here's to hoping everyone has a wonderful holiday celebrating our 250 years!!

But, please be safe! Obviously drinking will be a big part (present company included) but remember to do it safely esp no driving, or handling fireworks or if you'll be out on the water. Also, make sure you are staying hydrated as it has been so hot lately.

My wife and I spent the day together at home, had a nice dinner with fresh peach cobbler for dessert, and watched the festivities and fireworks at the capital on TV.

We live in a rural area about 20 miles from towns and decided not to go anywhere this year. It was nice.

Barbeque and pool party at my dad's house. I don't really drink but a few times a year maybe, probably won't today either. Most fireworks are illegal here (too likely to set the desert on fire) so not a lot for me to worry about today in that regard. Have fun everyone!

First, I watched the fireworks at Mount Rushmore last night.
Then, tonight, walked over to the corner a few houses away and watched several locations shooting them off all around me.
Then, I came home and eventually saw the fireworks display put on in D. C. !

Would've been better if my fiance was with me and we could've seen them close-up.
No problem, I hope it helps. A friend of mine took injections and I think that might be what eventually killed her.
This is her either just before or just after she started transition. She told me most of her songs, at this time, were about her being trans. I was supposed to play drums and help her record her 2nd album but, she backed out before we even got started.
