I've been in my church longer than my boyfriend, I'm the one who actually introduced him to my youth groups and eventually my church. I was told today that he apparently had a meeting with his youth leader, I'm not offended but feel some way about it because I have been in the church longer than him and in different youth groups but I've never had a 1on1 meeting with any of the leaders, yes we called here and there but never been invited to go out on lunch or anything. I don't need some type of approval from anyone but it stings a bit lol 😅. I'm happy for him honestly and we're different in so many ways than one. I know it's easy for him to create relationships and conversations with people compared to me.

I find that odd. I could never find the proper age going to church all these years. I was too old for the younger Junior high school group and now as an adult, I’m too old for the youth group so tell me what are the ages because it gets frustrating
And I don’t wanna be stuck in an old church group I refuse to even join those groups I’m not into bingo
I was like 21 years old going to a junior high school church group. They were like kids to me the way they acted playing silly little games and there were no competition for me so I didn’t even last long I quit.
My church has groups for all ages not just the youth. I have never been in youth groups in high school and elementary, only now in college.
But at my age, where would I fit in at? I like the younger crowd I don’t have anything in common with older ladies
I'm sure there will be 30 year olds as well. That's where they'll fit you based on your age.
Ok good I wish I was going to your church sounds good
One day you'll wake up the fact that the "church" views you as a secondary citizen because you're a woman. Till then, good luck.
I would hope not because I have been seeing it a lot. For instance, waiters and cashiers don't care to serve or help me until they see him. He's getting treatment I have never received since I joined this church. I'm betting on it being how I interact with people and not because I am a woman. I thought about it a few weeks ago but brushed it aside thinking these new feelings of insecurity were arising
The view is you are already indoctrinated
He's newer, a loose cannon who might pull you away from them and they can't have that so either have to indoctrinate him as well or remove him
They are probably afraid to meet one-on-one with you
Church people are mentally unstable.
What does that supposed to mean?
