Would this make you uncomfortable?

I work in home care, taking care of a disabled child in their family home. It's a family of a mother, father, and their child. I have come to notice that the husband just would never ever sit in the same room with me unless the wife was around. For example, if the wife was in the bathroom while I was in the bedroom with the child... the husband would literally exit the room till the wife arrived back.

Unfortunately for me, this makes me feel super awkward and uncomfortable. As if he thinks I would make a move on him or something. Definitely not a welcoming vibe. But just makes the house environment feel tense and uncomfortable. Just wondering if I'm just overthinking it or if I should switch cases for my own comfort. If you were in my situation, would you feel uncomfortable too?
