Do Sophie, Geneviève, Cécile and Coco sound like stripper names?

My husband and I will be getting triples soon. Two girls and one boy. We already agreed to name the boy Jacob, after his grandfather and that we will look for more french sounding names for the girls, as I am from France.

Now I came with those four names and he said he likes them too, but they sound like stripper names. Do they?

ok I agree, Coco may not be a good choice, even though I really like that name. Maybe it will be good as a middle name.

Coco definitely does. it doesn't even sound like a real name, just a nickname. coco should stand for something, not just be coco. can you imagine putting that on a resume? I can't imagine a 45 year old coco lol more like someones dog

sophie, candice and cecile are pretty names, not really feeling genevieve. I also like nicolette and simone, I think they are french names too. french names are pretty

Coco is awful and Cecile sounds very old ladyish. The other 2 are just OK but are you even French/ have French ancestry? Candice is cute

My daughters name is Sophie :) so I don't think it sounds like a stripers name. Out of them all coco. Sounds like a stripper name.

Geneviève is a bit old-fashioned. Sophie and Cécile are pretty common, and to my knowledge, those aren't really stripper's names (or else therer would be hundreds of thousands of strippers in France, and life would be cooler ;) ). Coco is a bit ridiculous, isn't it. Anyway, if your girls ever become strippers, I think they'll get fake names, so ;)

A lot of people feel this way about "non christian names" haha.. coco sounds pretty dumb but the others sound fine.. but people will always hate it when you stray from the christian name list.

my grandma was a Genevi?ve and I like that name a lot too, but as almost no Americans can pronounce it right, we'd probably call her Gen, most of the times anyways and I'm not sure if I like that too

All of them apart from Coco are nice, none stripper sounding names. Perfectly normal and pretty.

I don't like Candice much.
