What does it mean when a guy calls you baby girl?

I've been texting this "friend" and he called me baby girl twice.

That's too simple of an expression. It could mean a lot of things. I have a friend who calls me baby, but we're nothing more than friends its just what he does. It could mean that he likes you. It could mean that he is just trying to butter you up a little. Its hard to say. I would go off of how he talks to you other than pet names.

well. I only know what it means when your boyfriend calls you baby girl. if he's just your friend then he's either just being nice, or he's trying to give you some hints that he wants to be in a relationship.

Nothing, lots of guys say that to every girl they talk to. I never think anything of it. Although if he doesn't call anyone else that or he's just started calling you that then maybe he has feelings.

Some guys say that to every girl they talk to. I don't think it means anything. It's like how I sometimes call people "muffins" or "buttercup." It's a personality thing.
