Guys, have you ever pretended to like one girl to actually get close to her friend? Or at least become friends with one girl to get closer to her friend? Tried to make the one girl you like jealous?

This guy who I was pretty sure liked me (following me around, heavy eye contact, flirty smiles, etc) all of a sudden starts hitting on my best friend -____- . I did not show any interest in him and did not respond to his flirting which is why I think he's trying to make me jealous now... I know his flirting with my best friend is insincere since she was never around me when he used to flirt with me and she is hardly ever on campus which is where he would see her if he liked her.

that's true but it's a big coincidence that it happened to be my best friend...who like I said, is never on campus...
