I mean like its not completely obvious but just general vibes you get feel a bit off while talking or interacting with them.

My cat ate all his food too quickly so he's been begging for more. i won't give in cause cat food is expensive these days and also i don't want him to get fat lol. so ill just argue with him and he meows back. im like 'you'll get more food later buddy!' lol

Anyways do you guys do this with your pets or am i weird?

If so were you read to with any interesting books?

Lets say they are doing something wrong... they know it... even know why... but they won't stop. You've listened, explained, coached, guided, supported... they get counseling even and that has not progressed them. The wrong they do can "blow up" and hurt themselves or others but they are unable to stop as yet. In the meantime, the drama continues as they play out to you the drama of their daily life.

They can be a wonderful person in some areas, but poison in others.

Do you abandon such friends, when?

Example: Adolph loves his girlfriend and is wonderful to his favorite dog. But Adolph is hurting others via his policies, based upon his fears.

Bob is lying to his girlfriend... he knows it's wrong, and knows why he does it... but keeps doing it due to fear of the consequences. The result is emotional drama as his girlfriend is confused and frustrated.

Simple question

mostly aimed at parents, should spanking children be illegal? Or at the very least heavily looked down upon

personally I think it should be because of my own personal experiences, it can get way to out of hand easily.

I remember I was pretty young and I had gotten in trouble so I was spanked by my mother and when she went to spank me over her knee she went too low and ended up hitting me in the testes. While I don’t think she meant to do that, the pain was severe and the fact that such accidents can occur makes me think it’s not for the best

in addition I’ve heard of parents intentionally taking things waaaay to far with spanking so I just think it’s to easy to have something go wrong with the punishment

I’m currently living with my parents trying to bag up $60,000 right now I’m sitting at $49,000. The original plan was to put a down payment on a house when I save up 60,000.

However, my girlfriend just bought her home and wants me to come live with her and pay little. Problem is I don’t agree with how she lives, but I have no say since it’s her house.

The condo is super small and she too much stuff. It’s to a point where the spare bedroom is off limits. She always has people staying over with their pets and kids. Everyone sleeps in the living room on the floor. Sometimes she even sleeps on the floor and lets her guests stay in her bed. Lots of her friends have keys to her house. I don't know if I can live that life with her.

With all that being said should I move in with her or just get my own my place?
