Obviously, there are benefits either way and it's not like you can pick (just influence).
boy.
not that i want a girl though (don't take me wrong i would love having girls but only if they were never gonna enter puberty, sorry to offend anyone but i don't wanna be a teenage girl father or risk my girls turning into things i loath)
but even if i did want girls or my situations were to my liking i still want my first kid to be a boy, an older sister is pretty much useless in life especially if you have a functioning mother but an older brother is pretty much starting 1-0 to life yes he might bully you while you are growing up but he will be your father in the outside world protect you from pretty much anything if he is not a loser or a rotten clusterfuck
my prefered scenarios:
İF THE GİRLS WİLL NOT ENTER PUBERTY OR AT LEAST HAVE GUARANTEE THAT THEY WİLL NEVER BECOME WHORES
if i only have a woman and enough money to live:
3 boys 2 girls
if i don't have enough money:
2 boy 1 girl (pretty much a tradition in both of my parents sides)
if i have let's say 4 woman: 2 boy 1 girl from every woman or 2 boys if i don't have any guarantee of what will become my girls.

Either or, really. If there was some magical technology that could let me decide, I'd genuinely prefer to flip a coin.
The boy appeals to me since I have more confident ideas of how to raise a boy into a successful man. I'd be a bit lost and confused towards a girl, but my wife would certainly know how to raise a daughter into a very successful woman. In fact, I can think of no better mother to teach a daughter that.
The boy would let me see the world more through a familiar set of eyes, and that has an appeal like reliving my own childhood. The girl would let me see the world through more unfamiliar eyes, and that holds equal appeal.
So I genuinely can't decide and I don't like the idea of being able to decide.
I want my first born as a male child but my boyfriend wants first born as a girl child. He loves the feeling of having daughters but for son he feels like he should be disciplined kind.
But my reason is that I was first born. And I always wished if I had some brother it could have great help for me as boys are good at socializing they have lots of friends they are good at digging information, making ways arranging things to get done etc especially regarding making career, future, jobs etc. If you tell them this you want to do this you want to get boys are very good at making a way to get that to make that possible. Boys' male friends also do help them in that but female's friend they are always intangeld with feelings of jealousy and so they don't really help each other and this I have really struggled a lot. So I personally want my first born as male for my second born help. And I know being male he will find his own way himself also we will be there for him always so even he won't be left alone.
I was always saying a girl first but now I’d be fine with either or. My babies gone be dressed fresh af lol

I want a girl first. I've had dreams of her. I have a name picked out and everything. I really feel I will have a girl first but my boyfriend says it will probably be a boy because he has nothing but boys in his family and men usually determine the sex of the baby but I still have hope it will be a girl because we have nothing but girls in my family.
I wanted a boy first and a girl second so the girl could be protected by the boy and wear his hand me downs. Instead, I got a girl first who is a giant, gorgeous, tough tomboy and really the best of both worlds. She's scrappy and needs no one to defend her as a champion fighter who's 5'10". I got my son second, and he didn't mind the hand me downs. It all worked out.
It really wouldn't bother me either way. Boys you can be rougher with, but from what I know from knowing a lot of parents, girls are (on average) easier to handle. Sure, you'll have the hyperactive few out there, but I've seen that most girls are pretty tame. But both are great, and children in general are little miracles.
That girl in the second pic is too damn adorable.. So cute.. But really I don't have a preference.. As long as I have a healthy beautiful child..
Male or female? What about the other 1,418 genders? I'm triggered! Call an ambulance, quick! Get me to my safe-space!
Seriously though, it's good to see people resisting, and often just simply ignoring, the insane and petulant demands of the more unhinged lunatics amongst us. I have no preference, it wouldn't matter to me, because we need both genders in order to continue as a species.
We never cared whether we had a boy or a girl, just so long as they were born healthy.
As it happens we are just so lucky and blessed in having one of each.
Only because my first born is a girl. I think if you asked me before, I'd say boy since I come from a family of 6 girls and they get on my nerves. 😆
I really have the feeling my first born is going to be a girl. In the past I wanted to have a boy really badly. I'm sure I'm going to have a boy and a girl but I have this strong feeling that my first born is going to be a girl.
I would say girl like this she wouldn't have to worry about the whole assholes older brother the kick their younger sibling.
Tbh, idc. As long as they are healthy. It would be a blessing either way
I guess a boy so that I could just dress him in boy clothes and nobody would ask weird questions about him.
It makes no difference as long as if the baby is healthy is all matters to me.
I have two girls. Couldn’t imagine having a boy tbh
boy so i can show i protect his future options not circumcision.
My first born is a girl and my second is a son. Mission completed.
I only have sons but orginally I did want a girl as my first
Female cause I understand girls better. But I’d be happy with a boy too.
A girl because I'd love to watch her grow up and, there's even a vague chance I might never have another kid. I want a couple boys, too but, I'd want my first to be a girl.
I want a girl. And i don't know why it's just feelings
If I had a daughter, just like me, the world would be mine. God...
