Granted these all work best if you leave your hair in like so throughout the night, but if you want a quicker result wash your hair and do any of these (depending on what kind of a curl you like) with your hair wet and let it dry. You can also use hairspray on it before letting it loose. xD
1. Make a fishtail braid around an old bandana
2. Make little twisty buns
3. Use pieces of cloth to twist your hair around them - overnight works best (my personal favorite)
4. Use a stretchy head band to twist your hair in and out of it
