16 Hair styles for Women that are Perfect for Work

When I'm working at the hospital, I like to pull my hair back for a couple reasons. One, just in case my patients get violent. They would easily have an advantage over me if they're able to grab hold of my hair since it's long. This is also the same reason I don't wear jewelry, with the exception of my watch. Except now, I wish my watch was waterproof. Two, I want it be up and out of the way. It'd be awful if I was cleaning up an incontinent patient and my hair got in my face. It's also not good for your hair to constantly be pulled back into a ponytail especially if that ponytail is in the same spot. I don't know about anybody else but I like my hair to look nice when I'm at work. Patients are more at ease with employees that take care of their appearance. Also if I'm having a bad day I can think, "well at least my hair looks good." Depending on where you work they would be more or less lenient. If you worked at a makeup store like Ulta, you could totally get away with letting your hair down. But if you worked in a restaurant kitchen, you should have your hair tied back.

I'm not sure you can pass these off in many jobs - at least professional, business kinds... (Hospital work included.) I guess it really is about the culture you live in.

It all depends on which portion of the hospital you're in. And what it is you do. At my somewhat local hospital, there's a guy whose job is to stare at heart monitors and monitors people. Bit when thing ps go badly for a patient, he has to react quickly.

I have to say the same thing again. None of these hairstyles are attractive to me, none of this appeal to me.

That's just my opinion.

It doesn't matter what style I have my hair in at work, no one ever sees it as I work in a kitchen and have to wear a hat with a hairnet attached :(
