Well...the truth is, maybe you shouldn't - if you don't want to find your perfect color palette that will flatter you the most out of all the possible colors, hues, shades and intensity of pigment!

If you want to look your best by using the colors that suite your coloring the most, maybe you'll find this helpful after all!

At the end of this mytake you will know whether you're a winter, a fall, a summer, a spring, and whether you're clear, cool, soft or warm!

Seasonal Color Analysis For Everyone In 3 Steps!

First thing's first:

Are you cool toned or warm toned?

If you have green veins on the inside of your wrists, you're warm toned, if you have more bluish ones, you're cool toned. Also if silver compliments you more, you're cool toned, but if gold compliments you more, you're warm in tone.

Secondly:

Detect your season!

Winter is usually marked by dark hair and dark eyes, or muted eyes.

Know your chroma!

Soft (muted) or clear (bright) - do you look better, more alive in colors that are soft/muted, meaning pastels or pale colors, or do you look washed out in them?

Do you look better in colors that are clear/bright, or do they wash you out?

Put up one of each of those colors in a form of a clothing piece beside your face, on your chest, look at yourself in the mirror from afar and appraise which one looks better on you. For the best result, use the same color (for example blue), but of the different hue - a muted blue and a really bright, 'royal' blue!
