Why high waisted pants are better than low waisted

The problem with low and medium waisted pants:

1. Low waisted pants are uncomfortable for about anyone.

If you have love handles they will rub on that, if you have skinny hips, same problem. Women also tend to get bloated due to their periods and since the waist band will sit exactly where that bloating happens they are more uncomfortable than high waisted jeans.

2. Your ass shows every time you sit.

I don't think this one needs any explanation. If you have a big butt it is even worse as chances for it to show in these are even higher.

3. They are unflattering for women who have a hourglass or pear shaped figure or that aren't tall.

Guess what? If the pants are low waisted the top will have to be longer. You can't always find form fitting tops, so those women will end up looking fat and/or with short legs most likely. The baggy long top will just hide the woman's natural waistline. Since the waist band is lower the legs will look shorther as well, which can even make the woman look shorter than she is.

As you can see the baggy long top and low waisted jeans don't do Scarlett justice.

4. High waisted pants won't cover anyone's belly.

If someone has a big belly high waisted pants won't cover it. And again, if the pants are lower waisted that doesn't imply skin will be on display, the tops will have to be longer which brings us back to point no. 3.

As you can see, high waisted pants won't make someone plus sized not look plus sized.

Health wise:
it's better to cover the middle to prevent cold and wind.
It's the part where is easily weak.
When people come to me for back pain, menstruation pain, can't hold the bladder, stiffness in the middle muscles, etc. I always suggest them to tuck their t-shirt in their pants.
On long-term:
It's to keep warm so the blood circulation gets better.
Your body energy is less wasted.
When you get your menstruation, it will be less painful.
Guys, Good for the sex drive.
Etc.

So, cover your middle if you want a healthy body even when you're older.

Of course it's ok if it's really hot.

I find high wasted pants excruciatingly unflattering. It makes a woman's backside look flat and minimizes the effect of her accentuated curves. They cover belly buttons and stomachs too much. They seem to constrict a little as well.

All i know is I hate it when women wear high waist jeans. Its not attractive.

Low rise pants are good for women who have straighter bodies though. Or for those who carry extra weight around their waist and belly.

Even though I have the kind of waist to hip ratio for high waisted pants, I don't mind low rise or mid rise at all. My high waisted ones tend to stretch and become uncomfortable if I eat a lot or get bloated, they stretch and then when my belly is just fine the pants become loose. That's one big struggle I have with high waisted pants.

Hmm, mine usually get back to normal all pants are uncomfortable when I am. bloated, but it happens more often woth low waisted to me. I don't eat big meals often, but period bloating lasts for days.

I love how I look in high waisted pants, I've received tons of compliments on wearing them, but I don't think they look good on girls who are very skinny.

Skinny girls can wear low waisted pants and look better than when they wear high waisted ones in my opinion, it really depends on someone's figure, I don't think a rectangle shape woman looks good in high waisted pants.

I disagree entirely. Low waisted pants are cute on all girls, but high waisted are cute on none.
1. Not sure how you get this conclusion, but love handles will rub more on high waisted pants than lower ones, since the pants are now rubbing the whole side of the handles. Bloating argument makes no sense either, unless you cut the high waisted far more generously, which is not an apples to apples comparison.

Bloating makes a lot. of sense because on my period. i get bloated on my lower belly, not stomach. The band is the most rigid part and won't stretch.

And low waisted jeans with baggy long. tops. make. any woman with a low waist to hip. ratio look fatter than she is. There is no debate on that.

So. you find them unnatractie because they cover the belly when with low. waisted you have to wear long tops which hide the belly even better? That is more nonsensical. At least skinny jeans show tour shape, a baggy top can hide a belly to an extent. You have no idea what you are talking about you aren't even a woman to begin with.

I suppose your bloating point makes sense, although wearing leggings or a skirt would be even better for that purpose.
A slim cut top and low waisted jeans are in no way mutually exclusive. Lots of girls wear a tight fitting top and low waisted jeans. And I like girls with at least a 1:1 waist to hip ratio.
Again, there is no requirement that girls wear long tops with low rise jeans. Crop tops are an excellent example. I prefer girls that do not hide their stomach, so I put no value in long tops. And my being a guy does not make it impossible to understand jeans, its a simple subject, not nuclear chemistry.

Yes, you still don't understand jeans. It is not appropriate to show my lower in 95% of situations. And the other point are still available. Plus, I alreafy explained that you can always find tops that are form. fitting. even with a form fitting top, high waisted with short tops are still better because they don't make my legs look short.

Also, I am. not sure what high waisted hide to you. in most cases they just go a bit above the belly button. The upper belly is still exposed, so fat girl can't lie even if they find a super compresive pair of hugh waisted pants

They keep snow from falling into the crack of my ass. Plus they cover more skin. Which means I stay warmer.

It's kind of an attractive fashion but I will say this, they feel like they could be singled out as mom jeans, for that I would say it's important to be smart with fashion to either feature then in a smart way or conceal them.

much of the issues with low waist or even normal waist pants. can be fixed with just wearing the right size pants or putting on a belt.

Sorry, but high waisted pants do hide someone's belly! They can 'smooth it down', making it appear slimmer and flatter. It won't do a miracle, i. e. it won't make a size 14 look like a size 2, but it might make your stomach look a few inches smaller.

Sometimes high waisted look awful on us petite ladies and they swallow the vag and look like a bulge of denim when we sit. Mid rise is where it's at, but some women can rock high waisted like no ones business.
