So, the human race is considered an exception because humans have brains smarter than animals. One more classification of humans is that, we humans wear clothes, which probably no animal or any mobile living thing does ! Isn’t it fascinating ? CLOTHES have become an essential part of our lives. I wear clothes, you wear them, everyone else wears them to look good, to feel good and to save our selves from shame and so on. This is really an intriguing part of our life ! So does this topic. Have you ever wondered, why do we wear clothes ? What was the need of it ? Weren’t we happy wearing animal skin as the ancient people used to ?
For my question, you may have rich answers. You may say that clothes are needed to protect our body from the weather. They’re needed because we can’t kill animals. Human population is vast. Huge number of animal hunting is impossible every time. So, my questions, have answers already. But did you think the other way round ? I’m talking about the crime rates. Imagine a world full of people wearing nothing. Do you think there will be any crimes i.e. Rape, Sexual Abuse, Molestation, etc ? This wouldn’t be much. Ponder over it .
For small children who hate their school uniform, this would had been a good news. They wouldn’t had uniforms to wear. Weddings won’t be costlier as they are now as there would have been no long wedding gowns and suites to purchase. Everywhere, nude beaches, but you won’t have that interest to visit them *smirk.
So, my quest for this question is to find an answer that, the world would have faced less or no crimes. Small children would be happy as they wouldn’t had uniforms to wear. every work would have been conventional instead of people spending money for their tight jeans.
And did you even thought, that you would have not even searched for or read this post. Yeah, it’s funny.
Clothes give us a perspective for our beauty. People think spending money over clothes, over *bellwether fashion is a good idea instead of investing that money in some funds, or helping the needy, etc. Some people feel they superior if they wear ZARA, GUCCI whatever. But whatever the antecedents be, people should never forget that clothes are meant to cover our body, and that they should be worn well. Running behind some idiotic fashion trend shouldn’t be their cup of tea.
