Some things are universal. At every workplace, where there is a Halloween costume contest, there is always that guy who didn't dress up. He says that costumes are for kids. He thinks his co-workers should act like grown-ups.
He works very hard for the company, perhaps in accounts payable. At the end of the month, he is quite busy hunting down transactions to make the trial balance work that month. And you, you are busy admiring each other's renditions of witches, zombies, Star Trek characters, and Greek gods and goddesses.
If it's not too late, call that guy. Yes, phone that guy in accounts payable who hid in his office during the Halloween party. Tell him that you appreciate that the debit and credit account columns are equal. And tell him that deep down inside, you know he is Superman.
