A completely awkward and embarassing story.
Firstly, let me just say that this guy and me - we were friends for a long time. Four years to be exact. He was the rhythm guitar player in my band (I was the vocalist). He was sensitive and nice, cute and sweet, but also there was always this nutty sexual tension between us. Undeniable - everyone could tell. Wasn't awkward, though - never awkward.
We were on a trip together and the first night there we agreed I'd be the first one to shower and he'd go in after me. I brought in all of my preparations for a complete, long shower (girls know what I'm talking about). The whole shebang. After the not so relaxing shower - don't know how anyone can relax in a shower that isn't their own o.O - I walked infront of the sink mirror and started putting on my favorite body butter. The music I put on was loud - I like having a beat to my water play - and so I couldn't hear what was happening outside. My friend knocked and asked something. I just mumbled something like 'mmmhmmm' loudly, and he came in.

Awkward.
His eyes widened like he saw the birthing of some animal or some sort of dismemberment. His cheeks caught fire and he pressed the clean clothing he was holding on to tighter to his abdomen. I was shocked. Didn't move at all. I was just rubbing body butter on my thigh and froze in that pose. It was horrifying in the moment, but hilarious now - when I think of it again.
He asked me if he should leave with his eyes and pointed to the door while slowly moving towards it as if frightened to anger some sort of a savage beast in front of him. I'm not sure what kind of an expression I had on my face then, but I imagine it was something like this:
Suddenly I just felt exposed and sexy all at the same time. It was so strange. He didn't take his eyes off of me while he was leaving - trying to keep eye contact as if saying "I'm only looking at your face."!
After the 'incident' we were more awkward around each other, the sexual tension was insane. He had a girlfriend the whole time. Nothing ever came of it.
A real-life ending, don't ya think?
