How do you feel about red lipstick?

Guys how do you feel about red lips on a lady and girls ( specifically tan / Hispanic girls ) what's your favorite shade?
I have tan skin and have no idea what shade would look good on me

I think red lipstick can look incredibly sexy and classy. It really just depends on how the person wears it. Women with pale skin look better with bright red shades, if you have a darker skin tone, I think a deeper red would look better. Maybe something like this:

Also, if someone is planning on wearing red lipstick regardless of the shade, I always say they should keep the rest of their makeup very subtle. Because red lipstick is so bold, your lips are the focal point so your eye makeup should be minimal so your overall look won't be so "busy" if that makes any sense :)

I absolutely agree with keeping the rest of your makeup simple if ur gunna do a bold lip , same way with if ur gunna do something like an intense smokey eye.. I feel like I know way to make girls that go crazy with it

Exactly, red lips are very dramatic which is why it looks best with simple eye makeup and I completely agree with what you said about smokey eye too. And I'm glad you liked it! I think any shade similar to that would look great on you! :)

I think it's the opposite, if you have pale-ish you should wear a darker red, if you have tan skin you should wear a lighter red. It's a good contrast.

@Dakota_The_Rota lol I see your point but contrast doesn't really work when it comes to makeup, especially lipstick. People with darker skin tones look much better with darker shades of makeup.

Red lipstick is incredibly sexy on girls... I don't think your skin tone would change the effect, I've seen it look great on the palest of girls to the darkest. I think it would look really well on you since you appear to have full lips in that picture.

Depends on the person, the lipstick, and how it's worn. Do some experimenting. Find which one you like the most on yourself.
