Long hair on a receding hairline?

So, what's your opinion on long hair on a receding hairline? I personally like it, but I want to hear some opinions from the outside. Should I do it or not?

I think it can come across like you're trying to make up for the lack of hair on top with hair on the sides. It's your hair though so do what makes you happy and comfortable.

I think when it gets to a certain point people should let their hair go aka cut it off (my opinion)/

Cut it short, if you're losing your hair you have no option, it looks fine if it's short.
