What do you think about eyelash extensions?

they're starting to become really popular. I've been noticing a lot with women who work out a lot have then. They don't have to worry about make up when they go to the gym.

And for those who know about shows, they wear them other than being on stage. Even after they compete- they wear them.

they look good, I want them.

I like them but I would never get them.

They're nice, but I wouldn't get them for myself. I already have pretty decent eyelashes that definitely don't need help with length, but I also wouldn't want them to be too thick because I think it's very easy to overdo. For me, a little bit of mascara goes a long way and they look pretty decent without makeup too, so I don't feel it would be necessary in my case.

Nah it's more than that... I pay $60 for a fill, and that's about every 6-8 weeks in cooler weather, every 4-6 weeks in warmer weather.

I think you're looking at the comment where I said I could negotiate another 5-10 off each fill if I wanted to, but I don't really feel the need to bargain down (my girl does a great job, and she needs the extra 5-10 bucks a lot more than I do).

Ahh okay yeah I kind of skimmed it lol I've gotten fake ones before for prom and a military ball I went to. Do they feel the same? I always felt like mine were going to fall off. And how does that work with washing off make up? Do you still put on mascara every day?

You can't use waterproof mascara (it will clump, and anything that gets it off might weaken or dissolve the glue that holds the extensions on).
Also, you can't use "tubing" mascara (like Too Faced's Lash Injection).
The 2 brands I named above are fine -- as are most other mascaras that aren't waterproof or "tubing".

You won't need a TON of mascara, though... obviously. Light hand, just applied to the very tips of the lashes, is more than enough.

Taking off makeup is pretty much the same, too. You just have to use a water-based MU remover (not oil-based -- because, again, that could weaken or dissolve the glue).

Eyelashes are just hair. They grow, fall out, and grow again, just like any other hair -- except on a MUCH shorter timeline (because they're so short).

Most people have entirely new eyelashes every 8-10 weeks or so. So, even if something *did* rip off some of yr lashes -- which is EXTREMELY unlikely -- the lack of lashes wouldn't last long, anyway.

Assume you put them on right over your lashes and when you take them off (how often do you take them off btw?), would they be able to grow back fast enough or would you have to start wearing fake ones 24/7 to compensate?

You don't take them off. They're glued to yr own individual lashes, so they stay on until the lashes fall out -- unless the glue actually breaks down enough for them to fall off (which can happen during really hot, really active summers... but not much sooner than they'd fall off on their own).

There's no "ripping off" of anything. In fact, I'm not even quite sure I understand what you mean by that / what you're afraid will happen.

What really struck me was that she'd wear fake lashes, but she'd lose the real ones when she took the 'old' ones off.

i have it like yours, i dont think it counts as long lol. But my are quite deep set with the browbone right above it and bulging out and my eyebrows are too close to my eyes and cover them, sucks :-(
