Fake lashes can look very cute. Not the ones that are extreme, but 'natural look' lashes can look really cute.
Not everyone has long lashes, if they're short or pointed foreard you can curl them all you like, they won't be long and curly all the sudden.
From what you wrote it seems like you either have really long curly lashes or raderely wear make up, or both.

Not everyone has long enough lashes for mascara and curling to have that much of an impact, and long lashes are a very feminine trait.
While it can be overdone, fake lashes can still be done well and natural looking. I have lash extensions and very few people have picked up that they're fake and no one has ever said they look bad

People think it's cute because they like full long lashes. I personally prefer to use eyelash growth serum for a natural effect, plus you have to be talented to correctly put on the falsies. It can look really tacky if the falsies aren't well chosen and applied well, you're better off with a mascara.
Eyelash growth serum is the best though.
It's not just this generation, past ones as well. Some people just seem to think they need it I guess? It's really too bad the a lot of women feel "ugly" without make up (because of society?) because nothing could be further from the truth. Same with implants, so not necessary AT ALL.

In my opinion, it looks cute on people with nice eyes, I feel like they enhance your eyes and make them more noticeable, they also add a little touch of femininity, which I think is hot (:

You are right, definitely not cute in my opinion. You just look fake when you ware it.
Some girls are flashy, natural make up and regular stuff isn't enough for some haha -
I don't wear them, (and I'd probably blind myself trying to put them on😂) but I have no eyelashes to curl. In the event that I would want my face to look pretty and be able to bat my eyelashes at all the boys, I'd try falsies.

Not everyone likes natural makeup. Also, fake eyelashes are like the cherry on top. They just make the whole look go from meh to wow!

First, some girls have short eyelashes, second wearing false ones doesn't mean you will look fake. I wear sometimes and I buy natural looking, so you basically can't notice. If you want check my last question and tell me if they look fake. It would be nice to hear a girl's opinion.

It's just a thing girls wear these days. I feel like a lot of girls who wear them feel that their eyelashes are too thin and wouldn't be able to get the dramatic look with just mascara.

it saves time when putting on makeup. all you really need is lipgloss/lip stick. i don't wear eyelashes but that's what people told me that wear them.

I believe it's just like any trend, something becomes cool and desirable for some time and then something else take it's place. Plus long thick lashes really complement the eyes

I guess it's because when you wear fake lashes they look a lot longer and thicker then the average persons. Plus it's a feminine trait.
