How the hell do girls put on fake eyelashes?

GIRLS!!!
Tell me your secrets!! How in the Jesus lord above do you put on false eyelashes? I bought 20 dramatic looking eyelashes from eBay for practise and I don’t even know where to start😭 help a girl out!

i wouldn't use an eyelash tweezer; you have to be super meticulous and take time to practice way too much. put on a thin layer of glue (make sure it's the invisible glue type so it won't dry and there'll be white residue) and blow on it a bit. i usually try not to wait until it's tacky just bc if the glue is still slightly wet i can easily slide it closer to my lash line with my finger. once you're happy with the placement, let it dry. then apply mascara to your lashes so theyll blend.
pro tip: if you see an annoying gap between your lash line and the fake lash, just run some liquid eyeliner between the space to fill it in.

You need to practice. It will take a steady hand (don’t have a coffee beforehand!) and some patience!

You need a SMALL amount of glue on the eyelash and then carefully press it on.

I have to be honest, I rarely wear them and when I do I often mess them up and then need to get another eyelash because I’ve super-screwed up the first...

You’ll want a pair of these and some black strip glue from ardell. If using strip lashes line them up to the lash line. Trim from the OUTSIDE for desired size.
Apply a THIN strip of glue to the band. Wait 30 seconds. GLUE SHOULD BE TACKY! Use tweezers to apply as close to lash line as possible.

I prefer to put them on by cutting the strips in 2 pieces. I can get closer to the my lash line that way.

I feel you. They're so hard to get right, but anyway, apply a thin layer of lash glue and wait until it's tacky (usually takes 30-60 seconds) Do you have an eyelash tweezer? If not, I'd get one. They make it way easier in my opinion. Apply the lash very close to your lash line, then blend the false lashes with your natural ones by using mascara. If you have any gaps or need to cover up the blue line, you can use a black liquid liner.

The false eyelashes are tricky and can be a disaster! And to make life a little bit harder we have long false nails on 💅👀

It takes a lot of skill & a steady hand! Took me some practice that’s for sure & now I don’t even wear them 😂

It takes practice. I usually curve the eyelash first and apply a thin layer of eyelash glue to it. Then I grab the eyelash with my index finder and thumb and apply it. I use my pinky finger to carefully press down on the ends first then middle. 🙂
